Very effective for filtration but imposing

Positives:
- Really makes the water very clear aquarium in less than 2 hours, large absorption capacity of the elements in suspension,
- No sound of water as I feared the return water cascade,
- Reasonable price for the filter and replacement cartridges.

Negative points:
- Big fat filter, the black background is essential background behind the glass to hide,
- Contrary to what is written in other reviews, the filter is quite noisy, the engine means and the filter vibrates a little. It is much noisier than Dennerle filter example that I have in another tray,
- Entry gate wide enough water, I'm afraid fry can enter.
