I bought these headphones for a long haul flight and I must say that the noise reduction is very effective for listening to music, programs provided on the plane and even without listening to anything to be peaceful.
Only black spot the jack to be used in flight mode is long, very exposed and very fragile. So I bent mine fortunately still works, hence 4 stars and not 5.
