Overall, the Tristar 45W makes a robust and functional impression, the device is made entirely of plastic, but what you can absolutely cope with the price point. The stand does the job satisfactorily. If you nudge fan, a good piece wobbles then something, but there is never a danger that the unit falls over, at least not without major effort. On the positive side, I noticed that the device absolutely silent / functions quietly, especially with devices which are made of cheap plastic, I had quite a few negative experiences with annoying squeak and cracking noises, here is not the case, which had a positive definitely is rate! Through the easy-to-operate rotary switch on the top of the unit can also be set whether the fan should rotate or to operate fixed, this can also be operated easily and is attached handy!
Further positive I noticed that the background noise is quite pleasant. At level 1, the air flow is already very pleasant and, as I said, the volume at a low level, it hardly or not hear the engine. If you want a little more time, then the Stage 2 offers a very good compromise between volume and performance, and is more than adequate for my 15sqm big room if the sun is once again too good thinks. All in all it can be said that for the price you get a very solid product from Tristar. Of course, there are better options but also to a much higher, sometimes double or triple the price of 45W.
