The case has many interfaces that are of interest under OSX. USB2.0 Firewire and Firewire 800. There are even 2xFirewire 800 ports available which will support daisy chaining. The plate can be installed also very easy.

However, I found that hard drives housing a bit noisy. Despite quieter hard drive (Samsung HN-M101MBB). That reminds me of the noise level is very important, I prefer from 2 star. Those who are not as sensitive can ignore my deducted star.
