Vittoria agli Assassini!

"Assassin's Creed". Everyone has heard of this franchise. Loved by many, hated by many and ausgelutscht mercilessly by Ubisoft.
But let's start at the beginning.
When I got this part of the magnificent series of my father for the Playstation 3 in January 2014. I knew at the latest, as the protagonist Ezio Auditore Firenze and his brother Federico stand there on the roof of the tower of a Florentine church, the camera pulls back, the grandiose soundtrack is played and the logo of the game appears, I knew that I started watching something gigantic.

I will divide this review in five different paragraphs:

Story:
In Assassin's Creed 2, the player plays the Florentine nobleman Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who is born in the Renaissance in the Italian city of Florence and grew. Before the story gets going properly care you look at short orders to his siblings and parents, such as for his sister Claudia, which is sitting on a bench crying finds. If you interact with her, we get to see one of the many, well-done cutscenes. This asks us Claudia, to take care of her friend, who was said to be unfaithful, according to her friends. Ezio replied then that there are no girlfriends but hyenas. Now you can choose whether we accept the order or not. We therefore assume and to embark on a waypoint on the map. Once there, we need to make Claudia's friend Duccio find flirting just with another woman. At this moment begins again a cutscene in which you can hear the talking friend of Ezio's sister negatively about the Auditore. Here the protagonist is engaged now and you have to beat up Duccio, which should be due to the well-functioning system fight ended pretty fast. Then one comes back to Claudia and tell her what happened. The mission is now completed and we get a couple of Florin, the currency in Assassin's Creed II.
After we have now completed all the missions, you have to learn from home housemaid that Ezio's father and his brothers and sisters have been captured by the guards and were sent to prison, placed on the Palazzo della Signoria. So we go to aforementioned Ortund climb to the window, where already waiting for us Ezio's father. This tells us that we should go into the entrance hall of our virtual apartment and find a secret room. There is supposedly a chest and we should take everything and bring the letter to Signor Alberti. So we activate our home Adlerauge and discover the room, which is located behind the stove. In the chest are the Assassin armor, weapons and a letter. This scene is one of the best in the game again because you get to hear the grandiose soundtrack, "Ezio's Family" by Jesper Kyd, again. So we go outside and are directly expected from two city guards, who want us to the leather. After both have submitted their virtual spoon, we bring the said letter to Uberto Alberti, the Gonfaloniere of Florence, which offers us a bed, but which we reject. He said goodbye with the words "You'll be fine"
Now we can move again in Florence free, already in the Assassin clothes known from the predecessor. After back to the waypoint at which the next mission starts, you will be at a point in front of the Palazzo della Signoria, where a gallows was built. I do not want to spoil so much now and will also respond briefly to the events.
Ezio's father and his brothers to be hanged by Uberto Alberti, which is obviously involved in a conspiracy. We now have to flee, are taken up by the sister of the housemaid, a prostitute in her establishment, to be admitted to some tactics and skills, as sent to Leonardo da Vinci, the repaired us our hidden blade and kill Uberto Alberti. Then we fly out of Florence, Monteriggioni where Ezio's uncle Mario, sent us a short fight with Vieri de Pazz which is not the same as his father in the conspiracy against the Auditore Bystanders in the circumstances in Monteriggioni.

More I would not say to the story, except that the whole story is very well done and a captivating from start to finish on the screen. Moreover, everything is so varied, it is a lot of games could do with taking an example.

Gameplay:

In Assassin's Creed II, we can in the skin of Ezio Auditore da Firenze over the rooftops of Florence, Monteriggioni and later in the game, the Venice, climbing, Assassination City guards and eliminate the conspirators. There are many side missions such as the Assassin Tombs, where we come climbing to a coffin, in which a seal is. When all of these, to be exact, there are six of them in the game, we unlock the armor of Altaïr that protects us well and where we can also fight well.
There are also fighting, racing and many other missions.
Available Ezio different weapons, including the hidden blades, hidden pistol, swords and axes.
The control is very precise and reacts very quickly to our commands. Only sometimes you jump also next to it, what does it matter that sprinting and jumping on a button located.
There is also in the game 73 viewpoints who want to synchronize and which one discovers the card.

Graphics:

The visuals are really good for 2009, considering that this is an open-world game. The faces and figures at all are well modeled and the cities are very detailed. You can feel the life in the places directly. Add to that an almost infinite foresight.

Soundtrack:

The soundtrack is the composer very well done, the main melody is one of my favorite songs to. All the music adapts to the game at any moment and perfectly fit at any time to the game.
The German dubbed version is very well done and acts at all times realistic. Although it is not always lip-sync, but that almost never falls on. Even emotions are good rübergebracht; which is often quite a downfall to German translations.

Atmosphere:

The atmosphere is terrific. You can feel the life in the streets, the trepidation when the family of the protagonist is killed or freedom on the roofs of the city. The whole game is captivating at all times and draws one into its spell.

Conclusion:

Assassin's Creed II is a terrific game with a brilliant story, thrilling gameplay, nice graphics and many other advantages.
Too bad that the series Ubisoft currently only auslutscht and only sees the profit. Nevertheless, I like the series very well and I will even bring me the new parts. However, I am of the opinion, the developer should be at least one year period and reinbringen many innovations.
