After such a successful debut is in principle always the question: Business as usual, or development? The former guarantees Fanerhalt but provides pontentiell monotony, whereas the latter more conflicting arguments supplies. Kraftklub are more likely to carry on as before. This places on this album but for me personally not a problem. The songs seem fresh, the texts as we know it entertaining and make yourself no musical wear wide.
Why the star deduction? Actually, I have strongly tends this album concede only three stars. The problem for me is just in the pesky permanently monotony in the vocal performance. For Felix (rapper), the vocal and raptechnischen skills on this board seem to work very one-dimensional. Exaggeration one might think that all of its parts can be layered, as pace and intonation are always the same anyway. Quite so bad it is not natural, but it makes a strong monotony wide. This is quite striking if you look at the pretty peaceful "My city is too loud" (takes the place of "Love Song"), and the strong uptempo-inspired "Beautiful Day" in succession sounds. Though both songs from the pace and arrangements vary widely both Rapp Arts hear strongly similar. This is a pity and is in particular the focus on vocals and lyrics in Kraftklub a problem.
To make matters worse, the choruses partly just come along incredibly uninspired. Even with "Our fans" I was extremely plate refrain after the second hearing annoyed and unfortunately this is not an isolated case. Vocally they are much more varied than the present rape, but by the partial exuberant simplicity of this positive impression is wiped directly again.
Yet I have given four stars. Two reasons were decisive for this. On the one hand, you mags hardly believe the Skit "Vorm rehearsal room". This breaks through on this album the Rapmonotonie and I felt after this so far recovered that I could stand another charge Felix. Considering that I normally not a big fan of Skits am a paradoxical realization.
Secondly, the part of Casper! It could be negative to point out that Casper in his Part interrupts the monotony and times shortly mopping the floor with Felix, but it just rocks. Had me the song rather than the completion of the desired disk, but you can not have everything;)
Overall, therefore, remains a really good album, which unfortunately suffers greatly for me to the monotonous intonation of rape and the stupidity of the choruses. Almost these points would have destroyed the album enjoyment for me, but the skit and Casper have saved it for me. Rapping whom Felix always same way in the long run does not go on your nerves can with this album not go wrong, because Kraftklub continue to make crude humor!
