2 years ago I had ordered my 1st CCU1 and since then consistently expanded (is somehow a kind Railway, once one is infected, one sees again and again things that you can automate it - of course, an absolute nightmare my better half). After the meantime I joined more than 80 components, various Apps grab live to the data and various programs have myself written to the CCU and noticed limits: components appeared not to all views that opening individual views takes to stay very long and sporadic shutters down I've been thinking about switching. The last update of CCU1 was also not without its problems and most seem to be the last update. Newer sensors / actuators can be supplied via CCU2 directly with a firmware update probably now. For example, the new sockets with power meter that are stupid as delivered when delivered with power off after power loss and that can only be eliminated by CCU2. According eq3 homepage should go without a hitch the change, to the boards the user 50:50 - 50 problems and 50 had to start from scratch. So I ordered the CCU2 and ventured on a rainy Saturday changeover. And it worked right away. Only the e-mail extension had to be set up again and a turning handle contact was the wrong way round. But otherwise, all programs have been received without errors and all running a tick faster and more reliable. As promised, the surface is much faster, the wireless range and quality has improved and it makes a lot of fun to work with it again. Even my sober design like much better, it is more consistent with the other devices (server cabinet, PBX, switches, etc.). That the CCU2 has no battery backup, may be annoying for one or the other, I find it more advantageous because my eh hanging on a UPS and I therefore do not have to remember to change the batteries so they do not leak.
The CCU2 has now run for 2 weeks and in my opinion much more stable, much less error messages and the blinds now all go back reliably up and down. For those who are familiar with the matter and pure only use wireless components, a strong buy recommendation - the transition folds to 98% (as it is written the email component must be re-fitted) easily and well worth it.
