For the first time the VGA cable must be connected. In my attempt to use the same HDMI via PC Win8 I failed. The BenQ GW2265HM wants only VGA and HDMI never senses. Then set about the side menu buttons HDMI. Then the setting remains and the VGA cable can be removed.
The operation of the menu buttons is a bit strange, but can be intuitively easy to operate.
The GW2265 has a very high contrast in the factory setting. Quickly changed to appropriate values for About menu.
Colors are also very loud and had to be adapted. Are the personal values set once, the monitor is clear with sharp contours. A bit annoying is the easy Krista line AR coating. This is most apparent mainly in very bright and white areas. Since I often work with Outlook and Word, have mostly white areas, which is a bit annoying. You always want to wipe across the screen.
For photos and video I can see no interfering surfaces.
Conclusion: good value for good
