Weakest Silent Hill game, still good Game

Silent Hill was the revolution in horror action-adventure genre, Silent Hill 2 a work of art of the subtle psychological horror. In Silent Hill 3 I had been looking forward huge and was to be honest a little disappointed. The game is by far the worst of the series so far. But: It's still a great game that you should definitely play. So what is wrong with SH3? The graphics are great, the soundtrack world-class, on the technology so no shortage of Use. But after successful playthrough of the title you realize again how important the story is yet to satisfy the players. The deep penetration into the soul, the absolute identification with the protagonists as its predecessor does not work here. Nevertheless SH3 is especially for players of the original compulsory program: The story is continued consistently, even a little too linear for my taste and too detailed explanatory. The game is even shorter than SH2 and the horror is back superficial. Never mind that one way or another violent shudder is still guaranteed. So we enjoy a technically brilliant game and wait for the successor, who hopefully will set new standards for storytelling in video games. For me, it is probably more on the upcoming SH 4 - The Room wait as notwenig because with my PC (P3 650 Mhz, 512 MB RAM, Geforce 4 Ti 4200), the well still brought in good quality SH3 on the screen, SH4 hardly be playable. Does it therefore either set a new PC, or buy an XBox specially for this game. We'll see...
