Welcome to the loony bin!

The team of Spicy Horse (with an emphasis on "spicy") has probably smashed what (yes, yes the Moon in Chapter 2 ;-) which I mean that quite positive! By the way: I do not know the previous "American McGee Alice from 2000. But it is in the main game included, which I think is very nice!

Well my short review:

Story: A little crazier than I "Much gamers" have hardly seen! The story is scary, oppressive and captivates the players actually at the PC or console. And most of all: It's really something different than anything exists at the moment in the games market!

Graphics: Yes, yes, it may well provide better graphics (eg muddy textures) but only for the art design five star! What I do not quite understand is in the PC version, the integration of PhysX effects, since these are used rather marginal and when they are used, then you really need tidy "Horse Power". Without second NVIDIA graphics card in SLI not tolerable (ordinary FPS dips, bucking etc .; I use a GTX 570)! 3D Vision incidentally works quite well and takes the player even deeper into these wackiness into it!

Sound: In keeping with the surrounding area is worked here with subtle, dark, but unfortunately monotonous songs. Honestly: At a certain point the sound was rather annoying ...

Gameplay: As many reviewers have noted: This is the weakness of the overall game presentation. So extensive and pompous Alice Madness Returns comes along - the combat system, there are quite a lot to complain about, especially the camera work.

Conclusion: Those who like wanted to know where the madness begins and where it ends, which is to look at these "Kanichenbau" a closer look! The greatest feature is the originality, creativity and stands out against all spieln enormously from - so alone five star - deduction for sound and gameplay!
