A milestone in the field of acoustic guitar music, not for nothing that Grammy-nominated. The album has now been for almost 30 years under his belt. Have it now bought later after all the time on CD, because my LP digitizing is too cumbersome. The musicians of Windham Hill who in the 80s simply the most interesting "New Age" made music, perfected homey, warm soundscapes, born in the California sun, played on predominantly natural instruments and with sensible inserted electronic sonic quality (Flanger, Chorus, etc.). Music for coming down (for all under 25: chill :-)!) Or to cuddle up on the sofa. The two numbers "Spare Change" and "Rickover's Dream" but sound at the legendary live album "An evening with Windham Hill" from 1982 even more natural and warmer than here. Therefore said live album remains (the one of my very first CD purchases was) my absolute favorite and the entry location for those who want to approach this music. The untimely death of Michael Hedges 1997 was an irreparable loss for the music world. May live on his music forever!
