In addition to researching the ancient books about plants and simple (Kreuterbücher!) I found this book very useful for François Couplan the current knowledge of the state of some plants in the West. Very clear and simple presentation with appropriate illustrations this book is for everyone, or simply curious researcher and historian and man of art (pharmacist or doctor!) By its very didactic content. Excellent general knowledge book on the subject. recommended.
