Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (audio CD)

Customer Review

Anyone who has thought the soundtrack masterpieces from Episode IV and V, which is carved with Episode VI a third time from the stool: The Complete Score is 2 hours and 18 minutes and without the bonus tracks and I can say with conviction that the sixth score Williams is the best! This is due to several things. First, Williams summarizes all important topics together again and still manages a lot of new things with bring. For many, the best STAR WARS Episode V Soundtrack, but of ingenuity, creativity and perfection is the last section of the Star Saga just terrific composed, like its predecessor.

The main elements are, of course, the new topics of which there are three, on the one hand the beautiful "Luke And Leia", another masterpiece of composition, which again once underscored the relationship between the two siblings and confident as an issue in the same way as the subjects of Leia Luke, Yoda and Darth Vader. A delicate introduction, which is in the course of getting emotional, just great, as Williams and over again so incredible, create beautiful motifs can!
Then there are the festive and playful music of the Ewoks ("Parade Of The Ewoks"), I could hear the whole day. For that reason alone you have to love the small, bustling fur balls. There is the wonderful, dark and evil subject of the Emperor, which has repeatedly found already in the new films use and scattered through the dark male voices a very festive atmosphere at the end.
But what has impressed me so much in Episode V, Williams brings once again: new threads for every situation. For example, "The Pit of Carkoon Sail Barge Assault" has a famous spot, which was often used in the trailer for Episode II. Simply gripping as dramatic music always drifts into Faster and overflows towards the end to a great Heldenfanfare, mixed with the hatch issue.
Also for Jabba, there is a dirty and sneaky melody. But the fight for the Death Star, and especially the new closing music are just gorgeous. In particular, the aforementioned "End Titles" are somewhat reminiscent of the final track of Episode I:. A beautiful music that absegnet concluding Star Wars "as a big party A peaceful melody with beautiful children's voices, just wonderful, like this then known in the Schlussfanfare passes!
There are again the beautiful music source, such as the groovy Jedi Rocks "or the tribal music of the Ewoks (Ewok Feast Part of the Tribe"). Worth mentioning are also the time bonus tracks, especially the Concert Suite from The Forest Battle ". A great version of martial music of Ewoks.
Of course, Williams has his old themes again here and this time we hear all the important subjects that Star Wars "have so agreed. Be it the theme to Yoda, or even the love theme for Han and Leia, not to mention the Imperial March". So the soundtrack sounds to the last section in the STAR WARS universe not only new and innovative, but also as a Best Of- album of the trilogy.

A highlight is definitely the finals:
Here we go from "Battle of Endor I" from that point on, the orchestra plays a thirty minute roller coaster ride of music! And my personal highlight of the soundtrack (and probably the entire STAR WARS music) comes in "Battle of Endor II":
The part in which Luke rushes on Vader and he tees off the hand ...
This part of the music is so emotional, epic, sad and awesome, I can not bear to describe! The music describes incredibly insistent, as Darth Vader ultimately to his own I, Anakin Skywalker, finds its way back. The Imperator theme runs on at this moment to highlight and mixes at the end with the hatch issue ... But the scene in which Luke his father decreases the mask gets through the Imperial March "Harp version a breathtaking atmosphere.
Finally, we again hear the music the explosion of the Death Star, as in Episode IV, but this time even more intense!

Although the recording quality so crystal clear, as is not in Episode V, so the soundtrack is from Episode VI my favorite! With no other soundtrack I have witnessed the film as intense as here (the exception are the soundtracks for Lord Of The Rings ")! The Complete scores of old movies are all awesome and I wish that the entire music to Episode II and III and yet to be released ...
John Williams is the best in his field, just because Star Wars "! Those who manage such a thing to accomplish, who has earned more than 5 Oscars! He's the Mozart of modern times, if not better, because even Mozart or Beethoven had a grandiose music can not write such.
Full, clear with Star Wars "was not just cinematically made history, but also the music and should be ignored by any film music lovers. For those who want to experience the saga musical, these soundtracks are made and with Episode VI will find the kind of futuristic fairytale a thrilling ending, emotional and beautiful end!
