- Radio Gong as an extension of the existing bell system
Since 2008 I run 2 of these devices in my parents' house. My mother complained that the bell would always quieter and asked me to install a two-call in their TV room.
Even if 2 wall openings are due course with invisible wire laying and without dirt.
Had the plan for Modifiaktion a cheap radio gongs ready when I came across the 911 Friedland Libra. Solves the problem perfectly, elegant and sustainable.
- Installation is simple
The wireless pushbuttons can be adapted to different doorbell systems, including the widespread transformer powered AC ringing or -Gongs.
The radio button grid I have attached with tape above the on-site gongs, where he is also accepted. Two small wires provide the electrical connection to the on-site gong bell system
Pressing the Klingelkonopf at the door, the fixed gong heralds unchanged and the Libra-Funk Gong is triggered in addition.
- Telephone possible
The Libra concept is quite sophisticated and extensible. I still have the phone-Ringer bought separately. Now no more phone call is ignored.
- Second receiver can be integrated - paging possible
A second set was bought quickly. The receiver does the basement service and the transmitter is maintained as people call button. This can be requested from diseases an assistant in the apartment.
Each of these inputs (bell, Telfonringer, call button) has been associated with a different sound.
Programming the receiver is easily doable with the instruction manual. Otherwise, the volume and the flash option will be set with slide switches.
- Small weaknesses
This changes nothing in these settings also while dusting, the switches were fixed with adhesive tape. This is necessary because the switches are arranged quite exposed and the copy underlying enjoys no preferential treatment during cleaning.
Obviously, this copy is now already fallen to the ground, which the plastic housing do not particularly like. Again helping scotch tape.
- Battery Life
The Lithium button cell (1x2032) of the transmitter (probe) holds about 2 years and at quite frequent actuation. If it is empty, you will hear after the actual ringing signal a quick double beep as an indication. A very useful feature
The batteries of the receiver (4x baby cells) hold approximately the same length - in sound and light. When they are empty, an LED starts flashing. However, this warning is a bit premature. The batteries have still quite a lot of residual charge; They can be used for illumination purposes on.
With batteries Disounter one comes to approximately 1 EUR / year in energy costs. The bell transformer will be more expensive.
- Conclusion after 4 years of operation
For me, a very worthwhile purchase with daily benefits. Has the quality of life increased significantly. Perhaps there is now better systems. But I have to look no need for it.
With the little weaknesses you can arrange well. For me it does not really carry weight. Therefore, thank you very much for faithful service and full marks - trouble-free to more years of service.
