So far I had to score by John Barry for "Diamonds are forever" as an original plate from 1972. So I was more surprised when I got the remastered CD. Some tracks appear to have been changed for the drive time to be lighter overall audible. Is indeed common practice, for example in Jerry Goldsmith (Air Force One) or John Williams (Jurassic Park). Now tune the title definitely in line with the film. And I must say, most I was surprised by the sound quality! You can hear the music for a second that she was taken thirty years ago. It sounds brilliant, yet harmonious, almost better than the remastered "A View to a Kill" credit score. Kudos to the remastering! The bonus tracks are extremely versatile. Finally there are also the classic pre-credit-opener. This CD is a must-have for the collector of Bond music or for John Barry fans definitely!
