I did not read closely enough - I admit it. The charging ring has nothing to do with "Load" the battery. It is merely a glass or plastic ring, in which the toothbrush can be provided! An empty mustard jar does it then as well - and significantly cheaper!
But the envisaged 5 stars I would forgive anyway. The return has indeed been necessary three back-and-forth emails. Has but then folded within a day.
