This book is exciting. Testimony of rare honesty, based solely on the actual facts, narrated with touching humility and in a manner not romanticized.
From the first moments of reading it allows a real immersion with bright and humble strength that enabled the actual resistance, that of facts.

But beyond that, which marks the drive is also to follow the evolution of the man, his psychology, his judgment and his thoughts, then crescendo, the changes that will be imprinted in him because of the war.

This is a book to put in any hands, and offer again because it helps reflect both our history but also more broadly to mean that the commitment, even today, to all scales, and that choice has to be done by everyone at one time or another on the person you decide to be.
