Oh wow. A book full of emotions, love, tears. Could not stop reading, chewed on my nails, and cried, cried, cried a lot. The war descriptions were so realistic, I just felt I am somewhere in the neighborhood and I can see it with my own eyes and feel it myself. I loved Sophie. Does not matter what she did, what she did not do, she was really brave and fought to keep her family alive. I loved Sophie so much did I was not so much interested in Liv. In comparison to Sophie Liv was so pale, she had no character at all, she was so childish, like a twig on the wind. Nevertheless, I wanted so much, so desperately, That She'll keep the painting. This book was just so moving, not a typical "no - brainer" (like always, no offense, please :)), but read a deed made you to think. With unexpected plots and things to happen, what not so much predictable. For sure not to brighten your mood but all in all a wonderful read.
