With the size of the case, I tried it only with a 120mm nbEloop but 120mm are just not enough, here comes because of the closed housing with front door before just not enough in the case of. I can not complain about the fan. He performed his duties quietly and reliably. But you should already take a housing with fan control, eg with switch of 12 -> 7.5 -> 5V, so you have the volume of the fan under control.
I am very pleased with this case: Fractal Design Define XL R2
One needs possibly even a Y-cable, eg from Sharkoon, hence a 4 fan can be controlled via the switch accordingly.
