We use the hob only budgeted for espresso and cappuccino.
The actual body of the unit is not made of stainless steel but only the hot plate bezel and the body cover.
But that does not diminish function and durability.
Our first unit was trouble-free over 10 years old, then failed the thermostat switch that was never used and was briefly set below maximum temperature.
Now we have the second hotplate for 2 years again a day 5 times during operation.
Just as good as the first.
Whether 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 cup pot, flawlessly, very quickly when it is operated with preheated water (eh is at our disposal).
Safety-ok, rubber cable, thermostat with on and off (fiddly).
Recommended a two-pole switching socket adapter plug is also equipped with light (about 3 euros) for the lead, so that you are on the safe side, the annoying Steckerziehen and the pilot avoid showing red on if you have switched on the hob.
Thus the problem of the thermostat setting and the risk of burning is eliminated at the edge of the case usually.
Diameter of the hotplate 90 mm
Operating voltage 230 V
Current 2.17 amps
Power 500 Watt
