I change my review after a few weeks of use. Tested on Motorola Defy. The cable effectively allows data transfer when connecting the phone to a PC. By cons, charging does not work well. The phone recharge said it but, in reality, charging is not done, is misleading. And it does not depend on the USB port of the PC because: - It does not walk with a sector- adapter> USB - It works with the original cable from the phone. Not recommended, therefore, at least for the "greedy" phones like smartphones.
