If you leave aside once the hype and nonsense "Callas comparisons," says Anna Netrebko proves well as a singer with remarkable vocal qualities. This recital is better put together than the first, bringing their strengths with impressive clarity. Mich convinced the singer especially in slow, elegiac colored pieces like crazy scenes from "I Puritani" and "Lucia di Lammermoor", less in "La Traviata". The real highlight, however, is the "Ave Maria" from Verdi's "Otello" which she made very touching. At times one gets the impression that it rises not quite in their roles. So she sings the aria of Lauretta from "Gianni Schicchi" Although spotless, but it is believed a diva here to hear, not a young girl who wraps his father around the finger. In a recital disc but this is justifiable. The orchestral accompaniment is first class and contributes to the excellent overall impression.
