Concept applied sparingly since the creation of the Pokémon license, evolution is represented by a milestone: the transition to the achievement in 3D.
Highlighted as one of the big news of the game, it is quite playful at first sight with this idea, and they all want to rediscover our beautiful little monsters and all their attacks under new (and logically definitive?) the shown.
Apart questionable framerate which inexplicably fall for a few clashes, it succeeded. The Cel-Shading is undoubtedly the best way to transcribe our 3D critters, and holds a candle to the "simple" 3D Pokédex 3D Pro (available on the eShop).
Pokémon are generally well modeled (we sometimes surprised to rediscover a Pokémon larger or smaller than we remembered - the Pokédex of information is more palpable here than before, since Pokémon evolve in an environment seen in 3D), well animated, but perhaps not enough. With two or three creature animations, no special behavior, it is a little disappointed of the lack of difference with Black / White generation. Pokémon breathe, attack, but do not move too much, and are, therefore, not very lively, with no real personality. We forgave this on DS because of the relative lack of power of the machine, but on 3DS, even with 718 monsters, this remains quite union.
The studio, even in the era of static 2D, has never been known for his modeling talents, but the 2D cute style had its effect (without touching the pixel art, far from it even ...) . I am convinced that the 3DS can do better if you put a bit of his own.

Game Freaks here more than ever shows the limit of his studio: 718 Pokemon to model, it requires sacrifice. For 6G, sacrifice now we know the, care more on the form than substance. Displease it, the game is still long (30h aim to defeat the master, and a few short hours for the postgame) and long occupy any Pokéfan respectable.
It's on again Black / White 1 and 2 that the true lovers of Pokémon will realize one thing: the argument of 3D is not enough to stay on these versions after the credits. Nor do the new Pokemon or Mega-evolution. Be that as it rarely returns to older versions when the news is available. Myself, I hesitate.
Now that the game is technically in place, pray for a full version of Z ramaniée or a remake of Ruby and Sapphire at the height of the original games. The model no longer to do, there is a safe bet that future album will mark the climax of the series.
