I have been following the development of Sister Sin now since exactly 8 years. Back then there were only a few promo songs on their website for download. But that had inspired me immediately this band.
"Black Lotus" is now her fourth album (the debut I values ​​just once as a demo) and put them thus continuing their journey so far. Sister Sin escalated with every album so far and that is what they now do with Black Lotus. I would like to highlight here the performance of the singer, Liv Jagrell. I think it has made the biggest step when compared to its predecessor and delivers on the new album a grandiose performance from.

Basically Sister Sin deliver exactly on what is expected of them. A "snotty" mixture of metal and a touch of punk. Just that it again a bit better succeed than its predecessor. 9 songs that go forward properly. Playing time is just 36 minutes for making this 36 minutes but a lot of fun.

A good example of Liv's vocal performance is the song "The Jinx" which surprised me very positively. Unlike her usual vocal style, you can hear them properly phased "sing" in this song - and even very good. I like their usual "Metal-song", but this song really impressed me, because that I did not expect!

Otherwise, there is the individual songs do not have much to say. Make it 100% Sister Sin. Chaos Royale, Au Revoir, Desert Queen and The Jinx are my personal highlights and therefore my "face-tips".
