The preparation:
In the bag are another 2 bags: The base mixture and the organic yeast. Something much packaging for my taste, but probably holds little longer. Of course, there is little work, which let to mix with water and swell. The yeast smells quite intense, but of course.
The baking process:
After an hour I have swelling the mass done in a cake baking dish my girlfriend, because I wanted to produce with disposable forms no additional waste here. Greased (as indicated) I do not have the form. In already hot oven the bread then goes in the first quarter on pretty good and the rest of the time still crispy brown. The smell is hearty, egg-standard but quite good.
The finished bread:
Crispy and looks quite difficult, but can be cut easily and tastes good especially warm very well. The egg can taste naturally out but I did not really already clear when so much egg in it;)
Use Example Burger bread:
Have made me a test, low carb burger, and noted that it inferior to a normal burger bun in nothingness. It is the biological alternative to wheat without question.
And as I have always something more on the ribs, it helps me lose weight naturally. Due to its high protein content and few carbohydrates, it helps me lose weight and I do not ever give up bread.
Disadvantages:
- Price
- One can argue about the extra plastic garbage inside
- The finished bread initially acts something heavy and wet, but slightly dizzy by toasting or dry
Benefits:
+ Wheat and gluten free, therefore also for me a real substitute bread
+ Saturation factor is enormous, thus naturally you eat less (good for losing weight)
+ Taste (surprisingly good for a substitute bread)
+ Versatile, eg for burgers, packed lunch etc.
+ Relatively easy preparation ('m pretty lazy back), no more, no less than with other baking mixes
+ Ingredients are all well chosen, for example, eggs from free-range (I attach particular importance on it.)
+ Long storage period; my finished bread was really good after 5 days
Conclusion:
For me 5 stars. It is and remains no real bread, but who, for example, problems with wheat, etc. has or wants to lose weight, that is less carbs like me, will find a real alternative that tastes good and truly saturated. Of course there are also the disadvantages mentioned, but a jack of all trades must be well yet invented)
