I read several years the chip. Since 2 years I am a subscriber. Chip has the market and the rapid changes in the IT market always adjusted without losing the high Image. In particular, I have the testing of new hardware and software to highlight ... always very timely, objective and comprehensive. Not only interesting for beginners. You always get an overview of new on the market and possibly future models / products. Also are always a number of valuable tips, courses for beginners and advanced users and short workshops in this journal included. Important test programs, shareware and full versions can be found on the companion CD. Just a pity that the last quarter only advertising pages are (although I have also been there rausgeholt me price comparison). For experts who want rather have only dry reading material, I would rather recommend CT.
