Graphics just looks childish, Diablo 2 had a certain brutal bloody flair that here just looks cheesy and ridiculous, but what can you expect of graphic designers who work only on an outdated WoW engine for years?
In Diablo 2, the level has been random generated what the replayability has increased, at least you never knew in any direction you want to run first, in D3 always exactly the same maps, you know by heart after the first time.
Permanent drivel etc. just annoying to the ears of my Character "Needmore Fury" / "Not Ready Yet" (and you can not turn off separately, all are gone votes)
especially with the voices of female chars just annoying.
Voices of NPCs (which a lot of the story telling) are very quiet, voices of Lore entries are protesting loudly, am constantly turning the volume knob on * arr * either I hear nothing and crank it up or he yells at me and I turn very quickly quiet ... who has come up with that?
In Diablo 2, I had so problems do not, as was all text that you clicked away and could metzeln go while running in WinAmp Heavy Metal.
For this I find the areas where you go metzeln somehow too small, there's one too quickly through, for XP Level Up does not shred the Monster, but do the quests, even here, the formula has been tweaked for the casual player deal, you does not need 200 more runs to Baal on Level 100 to come, no, you're already max level (50) if you have half the game and by then it'll only hunt items that naturally there also at the auction house.
So the gameplay even more hunting and gathering, but collecting and eBay's trading.
Error 37 and Ping / Latency 75-250 give the game the rest.
I play that thing really just because I paid money for it and can not sell it because my CD-Key is tied to my account.
And so bad it's nu not, but I do not think that the game can build on the success of predecessor here, if there is still someone playing in 2 years I take the statement back, in the meantime, I'm waiting for Torchlight. 2
