The trimmer should replace a now seven year old unit of Philips, in which the battery had given up the ghost. The average quality of this new device is satisfactory, although it must be shaved several times just over stubble, which of course does not always grow in the face in only one direction. Even the lead through the skin I find enjoyable. Unfortunately longer stubble remain fast hang below the top, if you set this relatively short. Only a short-term removal of the cap can then drop the hair. The wheel grip and the sliding switch for switching are unfortunately still partially affected by gaps in the housing, which can relatively quickly penetrate stubble there, even with careful use. I hope by the function will not be severely hampered in the long run. The trimmer is quite noisy, at least in my perception louder than my old razor. The battery lasts me through quite a long.
