Remakes known items are at other times just boring to superfluous. Here are just a musical quantum leap mostly the status of new songs (rain, go to their November in May (bass madness!)). Who expects only proven, is more than pleasantly surprised.
The album takes the listener on a tense, fairly intense acoustic journey of discovery that you want to repeat immediately after the last song. Mostly you will feel to the Traveling Wilburys recalls, only timely and in German.
Highlights are the rain already mentioned as a duet with Julia Neigel, the thoughtful My way or what we already knew because duet with BAP frontman Wolfgang Niedecken (the text of Niedecken describes much more than suggests the first half-line).
Best wishes to the machine for the next Puhdys- and solo CD and then perhaps even a duet with Mick Jagger.
