This Keysonic mini keyboard is in contrast to her small but expensive sister "KEYSONIC ACK-3400U" even a full keyboard for the sole use without large, "real" second keyboard for long texts - just without numeric keypad. This is improvised as a second assignment to letter keys, you can activate it via the classic Num Lock. So do not be surprised if instead of the "U" is a "4" tapped - off Num Lock ;-) From the height forth it corresponds to the classic keyboard with full-fledged spring mechanism, so no "Super-Slim" with regard to the thickness. For crisp attack but without requiring a lot of power - just having good mechanics who need their place in the depth and brings a bit of weight with it. Measured at the thickest point (= top) as it is on the table in front of me: 21mm without flared feet. A little noisy but it is not disturbing when typing, for me. For me, it's rather the full value that is in the Super Mini keyboard simply no longer there (this I have to choose also ordered). Even a slight angle taken keys forgive this keyboard with nearly normal wide letter and number keys, unlike her little sister, in which despite the smaller buttons it clearly must be made more accurate and more powerful.

Keysonic mini: 52 / min Keysonic supermini ack-3400U: 32 / min classic keyboard: 48 / min
Disadvantages of this keyboard: Apart from the slightly elevated volume, the soft-touch finish that will cause you quickly fingerprints or shiny spots on the housing (palmrest). The aperture, behind which the Num Caps and Scroll Lock Leuchtdionden (blue) are installed, is not one hundred percent alignment applied to the diodes. Result: You can see from the diodes only 2/3, but they also shine so clearly visible. Both are purely optical defects.
The USB keyboard is also an adapter to PS-2. The cable is more than long enough, much longer than in my old keyboard.
Conclusion: Optically not perfect, but they fully replace this extra wide boards - I'm going to buy me back for my other computer!
