GILLIAN FLYNN

On my skin (Paperback)

Customer Review

Done. It's very dark, skin-deep, if I may. I love the way the skin of the heroine react when she is stressed: these are the words that are there quivering. And following the mood of the moment is the word concerned, engraved on his skin that will emanate warmth, itching, throbbing. What might be regrettable is that the family of the journalist becomes more intriguing as the investigation into the death of young girls ...
The heroine is a character who really slice with other female characters that we are used to cross in thrillers or novels. Sex and alcohol are two of his minions caught. Added to his old habit of scarify the skin, it gives a rather tortured character without ever falling into the morbid or the truly suicidal behavior. It's self-destruction but it's still a call for help, when you consider that it is a childish aspect of "heroine resurfaces through these demonstrations.
This is a very good novel, for a start, and it is certain that I will be one of the first to buy the French adaptation of his next manuscript.
Fredo;)
