My fascination with Call of Duty started at that time with the first part, which is also online at that time and was convinced after I lost over a very long period, the interest in COD, rekindled with MW2. Just a pity that exactly this part - in my opinion - is the culmination of modern COD series. What followed was a good shooter fare, but also no more. And yet I had any part to play simple, although always present euphoria from time to time moved faster it.
Clear highlight (in the negative sense) is now "Ghosts". I had deliberately chose this title was the first game for the newly acquired PS4 because me the MP mode to BO2 still brought many, many hours of fun, the price-performance ratio therefore voted for me. What I find now is a complete disappointment in many respects.
On the one hand the first COD for the new console. The graphics are in my eyes that do not have added the most demanding, no real progress. The hoped-for new feature in the form of suddenly collapsing buildings o. Ä reads. Is much more interesting, as it is ultimately. And generally never came to me really the awareness that I zocke a PS4 game here. The whole is crowned for me still with the now degenerate greed of developers. Because you can buy a 70 euro not just cheap game and before the first games a mezzanine cards offered (I read correctly, a handful of tickets for 50 euros ???). Where will it all lead? If you buy some point the game completely without cards and must be earned each card? Do not get me wrong, additional content to themselves are fine, just after months of gaming on the maps by then well known. But right from the start offer new Maps?
The gameplay itself is also sobering. The cards I feel though not necessarily as big, but as something lieb- and uninspired and above all very, very confusing. In addition, the spawn behavior that leads not rare that one comes to a virtual death immediately prior to the next gun into play again and faded away. As a result, at least I feel the team deathmatch with "Ghosts" is not as such, but as a free for all, as I already most of my march back lay alone, far from team members. Power but not much, because I hardly have a chance with the response times of my opponents. Perhaps it may be due to my lack of talent, but while I'm still come quite well in the previous parts, so I am little more than cannon fodder.
Also messed up the story was with the equipment. Instead level after level to shoot upwards in order to unlock weapons and purchase, I can buy from the outset all weapons - provided the necessary credits. In my case, this meant that I could choose from all weapons after a good half hour. Long-term motivation, where did you go?
Conclusion: It may be that many will understand my review as too critical baiting an unsuccessful player. But the fact is that COD takes more and more features of EA's annual sports games. Each year a 'new' game, no matter how it plays out. Mir remains ultimately not much more to say than that I was disappointed with "Ghosts" enormous and not currently intend to buy more parts of the series in the future. Very weak.
