No 2. Jane

After the resounding success of their debut album "Songs About Jane" the boys of Maroon5 invent "It will not be soon before long" new. The texts vary broadly not much, it's still about the ups and downs of love, but the music sounds quite different. It arises this way: the old Maroon5 sound enriched and changed by more funky beats, electro and 80s. Thus the band is fully in the current trend.

Insegesamt the album is structured so that come forward, the faster songs and later on the CD, the quieter and ballads.
The first single "Makes Me Wonder" one of the highlights of the album, absolutely catchy suspicious.
Also, "If I Never See Your Face Again", "Not falling apart" and "Nothing Lasts Forever" meet the criteria catchy.
"Wake up call" I like also very good. The song recalls, especially in its early, most of the old Maroon5 songs.

But there are 3 songs that act rather boring compared to the others because they offer nothing new. As there would be "Goodnight Goodnight", "Better than we break up" and "Will not Go Home Without You". The song clearly ambiguous "Kiwi" seems a little strange and is stylistically partially in the 70 back, the guitars in the end I liked but again.

What I umbedingt must mention the positive is really very stylish cover and design of the album, which underlines the new sounds of five good looking Maroonern. Only the arrangement of the lyrics is really stupid that you can not read properly, so who wants to sing along, raussuchen Lyrics prefer extra again.

All in all, Maroon5 mi "It will not be soon before long" played a good and brave album, but that not all rankommt his predecessor.
