Now I've bought the Philips Silence.
Benefits:
It is really much quieter, I can listen to the radio at the same time and understand everything. Also this device is advertised so that all substances without presetting you can iron mess. This is also true, however, the reason that the ironing result is not always perfect. Through this principle, the iron is just only heated to a certain temperature, which also tolerate sensitive materials. Through an optimized amount of steam the different needs of materials should be compensated. Severe or heavily wrinkled fabrics are not perfectly smooth with this iron in my experience.
Even the steam output is quite irregular, sometimes even non-existent. Descaling and water filling function simply and easily.
Those who place no great importance to silent ironing, is probably better off with the cheaper Tefal and better results, all in all, but still a recommended (but expensive) steam generator iron.
