To put it mildly, it sounds to get used to and forth between rock, electro-pop, disco and almost hit like sounds. In "I CanŽT Stay" and "Joy Ride" I thought to hear the soundtrack of a film almost old Spencer / Hill. In contrast, recall "Losing Touch" and "Spaceman" at the grand debut.
Very good I like the track "Goodnight, Travel Well". A quiet and relatively gloomy song.
Overall, I can not help the impression that they could not agree on a common line in the studio. Somehow the album awakens in me memories of "Wild Mood Swing" by The Cure. The shuttles also too much between different styles and seemed a bit half-baked, although the songs were good in detail.
But the melodies are accustomed to great and the other plus is Brandon Flowers great voice.
The tears out there, but Hot Fuss, SamŽs Town and also the B-sides collection Sawdust were better.
