1. An alarm clock to wake up, but please gently.
- The alarm beeps rising (crescendo alarm) to a pulsating tone by gehenen, similar to a standard Braun alarm clock. The "Sound" is not as clear as day but not disturbing.
2. He should try it more than once, but please without much fumbling.
- The Smooth button on the alarm clock expressed a springy and without clicking, while ensuring dial lighting. The alarm will sound again after 5 minutes.
3. He is to succeed loud, but please do not wake the neighborhood.
- The volume is limited to the prima bedroom.
4. He should indeed have a movement, but please do not tick loudly.
- 100 points for this very, very quiet alarm clock with running second hand is running!
5. The alarm should be easily and reliably adjusted.
- The alarm is at the rear (small) adjust knob quite precisely. The alarm clock wakes also the set alarm time.
6. The alarm should be without cumbersome fumbling issue entirely.
- The (very small) Ausstellknopf is located on the back of the clock towards the edge and is easily accessible.
7. He should give up the awakening after sufficient trial.
- He does not feel well. If you forget to turn off the alarm, he's doing good for hours and constantly its services.
8. It should be read in the dark, but not replace bedside lamp in the brightness.
- The lighting via push button is completely sufficient in order to read the time, without dazzling.
9. He should run reasonably accurate.
- After three weeks I have noticed no difference.
10. It should be processed properly.
- The solid wood cabinet is very pleasant, has a cozy, does not smell and makes the alarm clock a stable state weight. It is very sturdy. The wooden cabinet would a falling down safely survive several times. From the back you can see the inner housing of white plastic that hides the mechanics. This does not indeed so high, but I am even good things.
11. The user manual should be kept in German and comprehensible.
- Let's be honest: An analog clock is self-explanatory only Chinese seem to put more value on a package insert, but I can not find out whether this is an instruction manual, the safety instructions, or a business report of a factory for fortune cookies..
12. The alarm clock is to be environmentally friendly.
- When the alarm is already being touted as "environmentally friendly", one must ask me, what makes this clock environmentally friendly: The battery used? The unspecified plastic? The Wood? Maybe is just so on the package insert?
Conclusion:
Almost everyone needs an alarm clock every day. Nevertheless, the gap in the market for the perfect alarm clock appears to have not yet closed.
But after all, this alarm combines more claims well together than many other brand alarm clock (which is ultimately produced in the Far East, but this disguises).
The tone might sound a little better, the knobs on the back could be a bit more robust and beeping after 5 minutes should be an end to Awaken. Who is not yet awake then, which is either never or is no longer in the room.
How the case is with the battery consumption, the permanent precision and the internal processing, I can now - about 3 weeks of purchase - not yet assessed.
If I was to be disappointed too early, I would do it at this point known.
