Schicker toaster with small defects

The toaster arrived securely packaged and without unnecessary plastic waste with me. Unpacked and set up, he was fast. However, the power cord is not very long, so you should already have a place near an electrical outlet. Visually, the device a good impression, but it's pretty easy and will also otherwise rather fragile.

The manual is written understandable. But usually we all know well, like a toaster works. The slot is nice and wide, so you can toast thicker slices of bread. Well I also like that the bread slices are centered. In addition, the toaster has a defrost function, which means that you do not need adjust the degree of browning, if you additionally press the Defrost button. This is very handy.

The degree of browning can be adjusted to a small wheel from 1 to 6. Here, the mark on the wheel is barely visible. In poor visibility and vision I can only guess at what setting the wheel is. A simple white line on the plastic part would remedy this deplorable state of affairs.

The warming rack is not integrated into the device. One must always take off completely if you do not need it it. For a Toaster in this price range I expect an integrated bun warmer.

The toast properties, however, are in order. The bread is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. When taking, however one should be careful because the device partially heated. Bad burns are not to be feared, but it is unpleasant. Especially for families with children I would not recommend the device therefore.
