The demands on the system, because if there is to look good, are relatively high.
A notebook with dual-core CPU and a mediocre graphics card can not be used here definitely.
One of my desktop computer has an AMD Athlon II X2 250 CPU (2x 3 Ghz) RAM with 4 GB and an nVidia GTS250 (1GB RAM) - this is also not sufficient in certain game sequences with a resolution of 1680x1050 at exploiting all graphical effects - To play liquid (usually it is enough but, only in explosions or similar it begins to falter).
The installation was run but not particularly good:
In the last quarter of the installation (from 70%), the installation rate has significantly slowed down.
This was (available in Administrative Tools-> Event Viewer) on the readability of the original game disc, a lot of reading errors meant that ever an error message came that the to be unpacked file is unreadable.
However, the DVD itself (back, flipped the light) looked properly (without error, etc.) from.
You either already gone wrong in the production, or my DVD drive (NEC) is not really compatible with the medium. The computer itself is performing well enough and also has had enough disk space.
The launch of the program is somewhat sluggish (up to the menu "game ready").
The intermediate video sequences will not play properly (only the opening sequence was shown without errors).
All in all still a graphically very successful Star Wars game. Who can not do anything with the story, or has the described technical problems, but will not be really warm with the game.
