With this inventory of horrors and injustices committed in the aftermath of the end of the conflict, is immersed in a sort of Apocalypse that few historians have dared treat. The propaganda of the allies and the official narrative of the history of WW2 hid us the deep wounds of the European peoples. This is an oversight that fills this book, well written and documented, even if it is sometimes violent, sometimes subjective. At the end we remain stunned that so many misfortunes may have lead to a European community. It will still not until 40 years before the consequences of this fratricidal conflict disappear. This book has the merit of reminding us where we come to objectively look at the journey of our history.
