A brilliant album Be Bop

This disc brings together two very different sessions in their mind, but both led by Miles Davis.
The first is in the company of big hitters Bop including Milt Jackson and Thelonious Monk.
It is surprising that the title "Bags Groove" is isolated on leaving the rest of the session, a historic session that was marked by provocative silent (?) Monk in "The Man I Love."
Finally, both taken from "Bags Groove" are splendid and offers the best of this meeting between two giants of jazz with strong character!
The second session is more classic but high quality.
We hear Miles quintet with a superb Sonny Rollins and Horace Silver on piano.
It was at that time that were engraved for the first time "Airegin" and "Oleo".
Two future classics of modern jazz.
A motley drive then, but strongly recommended.
