Breakfast In America (CD)

Customer Review

Released in 1979, the most famous "Superclochards" is excellent and trading at a time (not in the musical sense, but in terms of sales), which does not automatically pair.
It is no longer "The logical song", "Goodbye Stranger", "Take the long way home" or the title track (only numbers 1 or so) that pass still often on the radio 30 years later! However, the other 6 tracks are very good too, especially "Gone Hollywood" with her voice to the Bee Gees (and this is not pejorative) and calm passage sax and the exceptional "Child of Vision", my favorite piece. Two beautiful ballads: "Lord is it Mine" sung by R.Hodgson and "Casual Conversation" sung by R.Davies. Everything seems perfect in "Breakfast ..." arrangements, sound, production, voice ...
How better after this album? Difficult or impossible. "Breakfast in America" is and will remain eternal.
