Sure, "Angela" decouple as a single A-side was then certainly not a good idea.
But the album contains great songs, which are among the Höhepunktzen in Udo's work:
- "The swallows fly high."
Appears on "The Best" (2009) - Do you have to say more? A great song!
- "I will be with you" - One of the best love songs of Udo
- "The sun and you" - pure good mood and "sophisticated pop" a la UJ-- Fantastic!
- "Farewell, half my life" - For me, the highlight of the album!
A farewell song, with nearly 50 years posted! (Udo: "one can not write more farewell songs I did my best farewell songs with 50 written with 80.").
Right!
"Farewell, half my life shows why Udo became the exceptional artist German.
Overall, an album that is not the quality of its best '80s albums "achieved (" Uddo `80" (1980), "Without Mask", 1989), but an album that shows why Udo was an exceptional artist.
Udo was not songwriters. Udo was not a pop singer.
Udo was his own category!
Udo Jürgens is "A Class of Its Own."
Despite some weak tracks ("Angela") also shows "Traumtänzer" why UJ was an exceptional artist and will remain!
