"I, Malala" is a self-biographical book of Pakistani young age of 15, victim of an attack by the Taliban October 9, 2012. She recounts her childhood in the valley of Swat, the Taliban occupation, the establishment of Sharia law, and the prohibition of going to school for girls. I was really very touched by the courage and the tenacity of this young teenager. I highly recommend this novel, which is both overwhelming and exciting.
