That it is hard to be a genius! This could be the subtitle of this extraordinary novel ruffling and gifted of contemporary German literature, which quickly became cult novel and best-seller.

In the second half of the eighteenth century, soon agitated by the French revolutionary ideas and formulation of modern philosophical thought, born in Germany successively Alexander von Humboldt (1769 1859) and Carl Friedrich Gauss (1777 1855).
