... But this is not the case of the following volumes. The story here is well built, interesting characters though somewhat linear, and the writing style is not bad. The description of the sex scenes do not tap on the system drive, but we feel that it may come quickly, say it is not enough to much for that one switches to free. For cons, the female characters are quite hollow, except Huayang (which unfortunately is too often a pretext for erotic scenes), all the female characters could be replaced without much change by a sexy lamp. Not to recommend to lovers of horses against, given the errors. But for those whose notions about the fall Warring States and the advent of the Empire are a little blurry, this first volume allows, indeed, learn many things (check also because historical novels are still to history that the SF is to Science). Unfortunately, it does not continue on this path in the following volumes.
