About Sense and Nonsense of Best Of albums can be discussed in detail. But this CD is for a band like Pink Floyd cover to cover too little.
Regardless of the creative period of the band, it also goes, it always lacks essential songs.
From the early phase only "See Emily Play" has received feed. Hits like "Arnold Layne" or former concert classics like "Careful with that Axe, Eugene", "Set the Controls ..." or "Cymbaline" missing easy.
Material from the Meddle album is also looking in vain. No "Echoes", "Fearless", not even "One of These Days" is.
The, at least in the US relatively successful single "Free Four" is not found.
From the album concept phase have already done more songs on the CD. The problem: It affects everything out of context. And here again an album ("Animals") has been completely left out.
However, the remastering really convinced. Therefore, the CD would have had a right to exist for a much lower price to even sample listening whether a new acquisition of albums worth if they have called the old remasters his own.
Conclusion: The CD not even worth it to complete Pink Floyd newcomers because just missing too much important material. Then even more at least something more complete, "Echoes" Best Of or the albums "Meddle," "Dark Side Of The Moon" and "Wish You Were Here" as an entry. For Pink Floyd fans this Best Of is all useless.
