The strap itself is adjustable and fits superbly, not uncomfortable or disturbing. The sensor is attached to the front center with 2 snaps on the belt. The weight is with prolonged wear also not unpleasant disturbing.
The belt is an activation code for runtastic PRO with (which I have not needed since I already bought mine).
I have tried the belt five days and can not really recommend it:
The first test of the belt was on the couch. Tied belt, the sensors lightly moistened with water and put the iPhone in your hand.
Since the strap connects to Bluetooth Smart with the iPhone, I had this - as also described by Runtastic Support - set on iPhone, then start Runtastic MTB Pro app.
In the app you have in Settings - sensors nor the Bluetooth allow smart connection. Once this is done, you can wait until the sensor (chest strap here) to the iPhone and the App.
And you can wait, and wait, and wait, and wait .... until the patient is at the end. So great and a lot of you can wait here.
Then minimize the app back to the setting from the iPhone. Bluetooth connectivity is on. This again identified, dressed again in the app. Since the BT smart off connection, turned rumprobiert.
Then the app completely off, launched new iPhone, gechecket battery from the chest ...
I have played around and tested here quite a few times and have here can not detect a pattern, the circumstances under which connects the chest strap with the iPhone!
Well, still sitting on the couch, already thrown several items against the wall, suddenly was the connection!
My wife pushed the iPhone in their hands, I then made time pushups and she has observed the pulse. 10 pushups is all super, pulse increased slightly, then nothing. Connection demolished.
I played around like an adult again, but no connection could get into existence on the day more.
The next day I wanted to mountain biking. Attracted Bike clothes made ready, last to the chest and tried to connect what 15min later but again with thick tie also worked.
I headed down to the bike, packed backpack, bike rausgeschoben and started activity in the app. While I then push the bike to the road shows the iPhone again .... no pulse on the chest strap I then placed and left at home ....
People, this belt does not buy !!! You can here change the battery, the sensors moisten as you want, start new phone, start a new app, Bluetooth on and off as you wish, separate and maintain the sensors in the app - which costs you only nervous!
I'll send back the belt and try one of Polar, here is a device sale, which just does not.
