First I had a crush on the cover I must admit. So before leaving, I spotted this book. As soon as I could, so I rushed me to read and much to say right now, I have not regretted it. So we are following America, very engaging young girl touching that one would really know. One begins the game of selection and this futuristic world. I found it really interesting caste system, it is somewhat reminiscent of the districts of The Hunger Games, although this remains a distant echo. Here castes used to define the profession and America, caste 5, belongs to artists. The book reads very easily, there is not much action but attachment is easily done with the characters, and suddenly we want to see what will happen to them. It is easy to hate some girls of the selection, it is wary of other candidates, and finally supports other. Prince Maxon surprises us, even though we suspected that pessimistic vision of America is false, we are pleasantly surprised to see a prince as well. The few action scenes, violence and touching, especially possible to discover more deeply the personalities of some girls and some members of the royal family.
It remains only one thing now: to wait until April 2013 for Volume 2!
