The cable is relatively flexible for USB 3.0 and enables the position where you want. If all hubs with 7 ports come with their charger now (essential for running a hard drive because the USB 3.0 is energy intensive and thus guarantee the transfer rate), it is distinguished from the competition because it does not work without the charger.
The transfer rates are good in my USB 2.0 up to 26 MB / s with USB 3.0 (Allreli) and a USB 3.0 hard drive, or 8 MB / s with USB 2.0 (from the PC to the key or the external hard drive). In USB 3.0, with a 5.46 GB file jatteins 46 MB / s from the PC to the USB drive and 106 MB / s in the other direction. It's even better with the external hard drive (Samsung M3) with respective rates of 85 MB / s (PC to external disk) and 109 MB / s of external drive to the PC. Inevitably, rates go down into multiple transfers, which is found on all tested hubs. I said that these rates are obviously variable and depending on the material used and the configuration of the PC (for information, it varies from one to two on 3 PCs tested very different configuration).
Level quality, hub inspires confidence. The plastic chosen does not mark (no record) and mark one stroke Wave ports available through a small blue LED above each port. It's convenient and it adds a little welcome touch of whimsy to break the austerity of black. The housing is quite large (17,5x7,5x2,2 cm) and very stable shot despite a light weight. Its black color matches with a lot of laps and screens. The real plus is the long flexible cable for optimally placing the hub.
In summary, this hub meets the advertised promises and offers a good cable length, what I look priority. It allows us to offer 7 USB 3.0 ports available. I recommend.
