Very good USB 3.0 hub

The hub comes in a cardboard Amazon polybag. It measures 9.8 cm x 5.5 cm and a maximum height of 2.6 cm with a cable of about 28 cm. The latter is fixed to the hub and therefore can not be removed. Aesthetically, the whole is quite successful with a design reminiscent of Apple, based on aluminum and white (sides of the hub, cable). Its shape is original and allows easy access to 4 USB ports that have sufficient space to put four memory sticks side by side and even a USB card reader larger. By cons, it has no transformer and can therefore know the rate of falls for external drives not supplied by a transformer.

Performance-wise, it is excellent hub 3.0 with transfer rates similar to those on the hub without a computer. For information (values ​​depending on the computer configuration and quality devices, so they vary greatly from one PC to another), I reach rates of 80 MB / s with USB 3.0 and 28 MB / s in USB 2.0 always with a USB 3.0 key. I stay in the same level with 3.0 external hard drive. Losses in multiple transfers are anecdotal (except to use 4 ports simultaneously) which is a good point. Classically, we can also use it to charge devices or operate USB lamp.

This hub is known to be both efficient and discreet with a rather successful functional design. It's all good!
